Job Description

Nursery Manager

Up to £47,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

Step into a rewarding leadership role as a Nursery Manager, where you’ll guide a close-knit team and create an environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a warm and welcoming nursery that places high-quality childcare, meaningful relationships, and inspiring learning experiences at the heart of everything it does.

Designed to help children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn, the nursery offers bright, welcoming rooms, each thoughtfully tailored to support children at every stage of their development.

Outside, children benefit from a large, well-equipped garden, providing plenty of space to explore, develop physical skills, and discover the world around them through play and outdoor learning.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful nursery team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding early years education

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery
  • Inspire, support, and develop the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance, and EYFS practice are maintained
  • Create a welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident to learn
  • Support each room in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Make full use of the nursery's spacious outdoor environment to enhance children's development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain the nursery's excellent reputation

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
