Job Description

Purpose of Post

To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children within our Infant department - children aged from 6 weeks to 15 months.

To give support to other personnel within Small People.

To implement the daily routine.

Key Areas

Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.

Organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc).

Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.

Maintaining children's records using iConnect system.

Monitoring and recording progress.

Hours of Work
Shift pattern: Full Time

Essential criteria
NVQ/CACHE Level 2 or 3

Job Type: Full Time
