Are you a nurturing, energetic Nursery Teacher seeking a full-time role beginning January 2026? A Kingston primary school is recruiting a Nursery Teacher to lead its nursery provision - your role as the Nursery Teacher will be to create joyful, language-rich experiences that give children a powerful start. The Nursery Teacher will prepare rooms prior to January 2026, join induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Nursery Teacher.

Role summary - Nursery Teacher
This Nursery Teacher will: design stimulating continuous provision as the Nursery Teacher; lead songs, movement and story sessions as the Nursery Teacher; develop early social and emotional skills as the Nursery Teacher; monitor progress through concise observations as the Nursery Teacher. The Nursery Teacher will work closely with parents and inclusion staff to ensure every child thrives.

Nursery Teacher Responsibilities
• Plan and lead play-based, developmentally appropriate activities as the Nursery Teacher.
• Deliver focused early language and physical development sessions as the Nursery Teacher.
• Record learning, produce concise assessments and share progress with carers as the Nursery Teacher.
• Prepare resources prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as the Nursery Teacher.

Nursery Teacher Requirements
We are looking for a Nursery Teacher with QTS/EYTS or equivalent, strong Nursery experience and excellent interpersonal skills. The Nursery Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start in post from January 2026.
