An innovative and forward-thinking primary school in Kingston is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Nursery Teacher to play an important role in developing children’s early learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • Permanent position
  • Full-time position
  • Starting in January 2025
  • London MPS1 - UPS3 Salary

The Nursery Teacher will be joining a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about early childhood education. The school fosters an inclusive environment where each child’s needs are understood and met through a personalized approach.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and appropriate lessons for Nursery-aged children.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment in the Nursery.
  • Monitor the development and progress of children, providing timely feedback to parents.
  • Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to develop and implement engaging activities.
  • Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos by supporting diverse learners within the Nursery class.

Requirements:

  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Strong communication skills.
