What you will do:

  • Provide strong leadership, management, and direction to a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Family Support professionals.

  • Promote and embed restorative and relationship-based practice across all areas of service delivery.

  • Manage workloads effectively, ensuring statutory duties and service standards are consistently met.

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality statutory social work services for children, young people, and families.

  • Authorise key safeguarding decisions and provide oversight of child protection and complex casework.

  • Support staff through supervision, coaching, performance management, and professional development.

  • Work collaboratively
