Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Key responsibilities of this role include: Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first Undertakes a range of delegated clinical care duties to deliver agreed plans of care, acting on own initiative Demonstrate, encourage and assist patients in undertaking therapeutic activities within parameters of agreed care plans and under guidance of registered practitioners To ensure patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs and doctrines Recognise and avoid situations that may be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of the individuals To act as an advocate for patients within the department, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria<ul><li>Health, Social Care certificate</li> </ul>Experience Essential criteria<ul><li>Previous experience in an acute hospital setting</li> <li>Able to work without direct supervision from a Registered Nurse and accept responsibility for delegated work</li> </ul>Value Based Question Essential criteria<ul><li>Give an example of a time where you have demonstrated a 'can do' attitude (including the situation you were in) and the outcome</li> </ul>Skills Essential criteria<ul><li>Able to read, write, communicate and perform simple calculations</li> <li>Ability to prioritise workload with supervision</li> <li>Can demonstrate practical skills to others</li> </ul> Please note that we do not accept applications via CV or recruitment agencies.
