Job Description

Cpl Healthcare have a number of vacancies for Support Workers for Guernsey.

Job Summary:

The role is within the adult disability service, the service supports people with learning disabilities. The successful candidates will support in a variety of settings including residential homes, supported living, short break service and the outreach team.

Band 3 – No qualification £19,901-£23,367 (€22,842-€26,820)

  • Has experience caring for a person who has an adult disability
  • Variety of setting including: Residential homes, supported living, short break service and the outreach team.
  • They will work a shift system/must be available to work 24hours a day.
  • They will use the active support model.
  • Must hold a full driving licence and be prepared to drive service vehicles.

Band 4 –Qualification £22,819-£31,202 (€26,194-€35,852)

  • Needs a Diploma Level in Health and Social Care or equivalent.  
  • Experience caring for a person who requires medication.
  • Setting: The Professor Shaw Community Centre or Residential homes, supported living, short break service and the outreach team
  • They will work a shift system/must be available to work 24hours a day.
  • They will use the active support model.
  • Must hold a full driving licence and be prepared to drive service vehicles.

Interviews:

2 stages, First stage – Phone interview with Service Manager. Second Stage – Skype interview/Onsite interview.
