If yes, there are exciting opportunities for Support Workers to join our continually developing forensic service in Doncaster, for men with Mental Health and mild/moderate Learning Disabilities.
The forensic service incorporates a Low Secure unit, Amber Lodge. Jubilee Close is a locked Rehabilitation unit offering 10 beds with 2 bungalow step down units. Within the community there is Danescourt residential home for 5 service users and a community home, Springwell Lane, offering 2 beds for supported living.
An understanding of Mental Health issues and/or Learning Disability is desirable although training is available for development of staff. Risk awareness and management is essential to this role however excellent risk training will be provided. A passion for communicating effectively at all levels, excellent autonomous and team working and a positive attitude are also essential.
We continually invest in staff training and development to enable our team to provide specialist treatment programmes and interventions for our patients, and to further enhance staffs expertise, knowledge and Professional Development.
