We are searching for a passionate and professional Care Team Leader to join the team at a fantastic Nursing Home in Henley. We are also looking for Care Assistants who go the extra mile to provide the very best standard of care for one of our fantastic care providers.
About the role:
Our client in Henley is seeking a full-time Care Team Leader for their 64 bedded nursing home. The home specialises in elderly and dementia care for over 65's and has a fantastic reputation in the local area.
Designed for comfort in mind, based on small household units, this establishment feels like a traditional home with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and is a wonderful and rewarding place to work.
Care Team Leader Main Duties:
Provide leadership and support for care staff and ensure residents' safety and dignity
Maintain the level of care in accordance to the latest guidelines and standards
Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
For the Care Team Leader position NVQ Level 2 or 3 is required and at least 1 years' experience of being a Senior in a Residential or Nursing Home setting.
The ideal care assistant will have a positive and caring attitude with good communication skills. Reliability and a strong team/work ethic are essential within this role.
Previous experience of working within a care home/home care/hospital setting is desirable and sometimes essential for our clients.
Our clients are willing to develop their care assistants through the necessary qualifications to help them fulfil their job role and progress their careers further into senior care assistants and team leaders.
Care Team Leader pay rates
£10.96/hour Monday to Saturday, £12.25/hour on Sundays
Care Assistant Main Duties:
* Supporting the HCA's and SHCA's in delivering the highest quality of care
* Following residents specific care plans
* Support residents with personal care (toileting, washing and dressing)
* Maintain residents dignity and independence
* Manual handling - Lifting and helping residents move around
Care Assistant pay rates
For candidates with no NVQs:
£8.25/hour weekdays, £9.10/hour on Saturdays, £10.92/hour on Sundays.
For candidates with NVQ Level 2 there is a 40p/hour increase to these rates.
These are full-time, permanent positions (36 hours per week + optional overtime) and both Days and Nights are available.
