We are committed to providing high quality care for the people of Bradford, Airedale and Craven. Are You?
As a provider of care for people of all ages who have mental and/or community health needs we are dedicated to providing a high quality service, close to where people live and as much as possible tailored to an individual's needs.
Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of Apply
across Bradford and provides an integrated community and mental health service to people of all ages. There is a long-established collaboration with local authority and third sector services.
Bradford is a vibrant city which combines a diverse population, varied cultural experiences, arts and entertainment with the challenges associated with a modern city. The district also includes part of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and the semi-rural areas around them and has good transport links with Leeds, York, Sheffield and Manchester. We also have strong links with Leeds University which benefits training, education and research and our commitment to your ongoing professional development. In addition, our Consultants are actively involved in a well-established junior doctor training programme and have strong links with the Leeds Medical School.
We understand the importance of a set of clear shared values as an indicator to staff, service users and partners of what is important in how we go about delivering our services.
Our five-year plan sets out our new vision, values and goals, and our collective ambitions (our strategic framework) for the next five years (2019-23).
We've developedthese together with you, the people who use our services, our communities and partners, so the work reflects what we all think are our priorities over the next five years.
The plan gives us a shared focus - a framework - for everything we do.
Our framework covers what we all said was important to us and our long-term goals to 2023. In summary:
- Our purpose (what we're here to do) - 'To create connected communities and help people to feel as healthy as they can be at every point in their lives'.
- Our vision (our long-term goal) - 'To connect people to the best quality care, when and where they need it, and be a national role model as an employer'.
- Our values (how we'll do it) - 'We care, We listen, We deliver'.
And why? - we've summed this up in three words (our core statement); everything we do will focus on making 'better lives, together', and that goes for everyone, whether it's staff or the communities we serve.
