We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant who have completed the full HCA Framework to join Easington Psychosis Team based at Merrick House, Easington. You will be part of a team which provides assessment, treatment and mental health interventions for people with adult mental health needs.
The post is part-time, 22.5 hours a week and is permanent.
The successful candidate will understand the needs of clients with mental health needs and feel confident in supporting the team to gather information, support the running of groups and meet with clients alongside their therapist. The candidate would also need excellent communication skills; good organisational skills; be self-motivated and have a flexible approach for working with clients with complex needs.
The successful candidate must have completed the Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or equivalent. Candidates must also have literacy and numeracy level 2 or equivalent and must complete the Trust Health Care Assistant competencies within the first year.
