I am currently recruiting for a Registered Children's Home Manager for a children's home in Saffron Walden.
My client runs 4 childrens homes in the Essex area, and is now looking for a Children's Home Manager to take care of 5 young people, mixed gender, aged 11 - 18 with an EBD background primarily. The home has recently received an overall judgement of "Good" by Ofsted.
The ideal Children's Home Manager MUST have recent experience of working within a children's residential setting and have senior level experience and have NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People along with the NVQ/QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
Key responsibilities of Children's Home Manager are:
• Overall responsibility of the home, being registered with Ofsted
• Staff management, appraisals and training
• In charge of reviews, referrals and meetings
