An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become the Registered Manager of one on London's very best elderly/dementia residential Care Homes. This truly is an outstanding opportunity for someone to stretch and challenge themselves, whilst developing new skills and achieving a huge level of job satisfaction.
The home itself is a stunning building, set in several acres of landscaped gardens. All rooms are en-suite and the communal rooms and multiple activities areas are well appointed and fantastically spacious. There are some compliance challenges to overcome with the current inspection report as Requires Improvement.
A recently-built extension has increased bed numbers by 70% and since 25% of the beds still need to be filled, you'll need to be able to rise to the challenge of increasing occupancy, whilst effectively managing the growth of the staff team.
The transformation of the home has also created an opportunity to develop and improve the entire care experience, which in turn has created an opportunity to develop extra revenue opportunities and generate an even higher proportion of privately-funded patients.
This is a genuinely exciting and challenging role in a home that has the potential to become one of the finest care homes in the country. Crucially, you'll be supported to the hilt by an owner who is passionate about delivering top quality care and needs little encouragement to invest in the home, its facilities, his manager and the staff team.
A successful track record of managing a residential care home (probably 40+ beds) is prerequisite.
The basic salary is likely to be in the region of £55-60k (dependent on experience) and you will also be given an opportunity to earn up to £20K bonus per annum, based on achieving good occupancy levels, compliance and staff attendance.
