AMHP EDT - Non-Caseholding - Multidisciplinary Team - Supportive Management
A Local Authority in the South East is looking for an Approved Mental Health Practitioner to join their Out Of Hours Emergency Duty Team.
The role is non-caseholding and is purely an assessment based role, where you will be undertaking assessments under the Mental Health Act. Being non-caseholding, you will not have the added stress of holding cases when you go home after your shift. You also have the benefit of a flexible rota, so that you can tailor your shift patterns to create a more sustainable working experience for yourself.
The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is a multidisciplinary team which provides strong support with a stable structure, and you will always have access to management. This is because the managers appreciate that too much stress can negatively impact Social Workers, so they provide a working environment which allows you to really be able to focus on your work.
For those that like to do extra shifts or Best Interest Assessments that option is also available if you would like to earn some extra pay, flexible working hours is also available if you would like to condense your working week. These are some of the many benefits that the managers have put in place in order to make you as comfortable as you need to be to work.
For this role, you will need to have experience as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner. You will also need to be HCPC registered. Experience working in an EDT will help though you can interview without this.
