Position: Senior Support Worker

Salary: £10.00 per hour (Days) / £10.20 per hour (Nights)
Full Time - 36 hours per week.
I have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join a North West leading care organisation who are dedicated to providing person centered and high quality care for the elderly and people living with dementia. The home itself is purpose built and provides expert care for approximately 45 residents. The organisation has a medium portfolio of Homes situated in the North West and are highly regarded.
This is an organisation that will provide you with on-going training and support and a pathway for career progression. Both Night and Day positions are available.
As a Senior Support Worker you will be a positive and caring person with the desire to help others. In this job role it is essential you are organised with exceptional communication and leadership skills. You will have previous experience as a support worker within an elderly setting and have a desire to make a difference to people's lives.
This is a company that invests in their staff team. You will be provided with on-going training and support - so if you are looking for a role where you can develop your career and put on the track to Home Manager this is the opportunity for you! This company have their own internal training team so you will be supported through developing your education and supported through completing NVQ Level 5 if that is how you would like to progress.
Requirements of the Senior Support Worker:
• Previous experience supporting the elderly and people living with Dementia.
• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
• Enthusiastic, previous experience of a supervisory nature - overseeing junior staff.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Previous supervisory experience - leading a small team.
• Experience of administering medication.
In return the successful support worker will receive:
• An excellent hourly rate of £10.00 (Days) or £10.20 (Nights).

• Working only 3 days or 3 nights a week.
