Within Surgery, Theatres and Anesthetics
Playing a pivotal role within the Division’s newly centralised Medical Staffing Team, this individual will support in the delivery of all medical staffing related activities across the Division. The successful candidate will be aligned to Surgery as the subject matter expert for the medical teams, and coordinate and lead on the management of doctor’s in training, provide specialist medical staffing advice, co-ordinate rotas, help with recruitment and provide project support to Medical Staffing specific projects.
This is a challenging but highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be one of the first points of contact for Medical Staff within the Trust helping with a variety of questions that may arise relating to medical rotas, recruitment and resourcing topics. You will report to the Medical Staffing Manager for the care group, who together with senior staff within the team will provide advice and support on all aspects of this role.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff are essential for this role along with good interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular experience of MS Excel.
