Role: Care Home Manager - Deputy Managers welcome to apply!
Salary: Up to £30,000
If you're an experienced Home Manager within elderly residential care looking to work with a North West based elderly care group, we definitely have the opportunity for you! My client will also consider ambitious and enthusiastic Deputy Home Managers looking for the next step in their career as full training and support will be provided.
I am currently working with one of the North West's leading private healthcare providers to find an experienced Home Manager in the Salford area to run their smaller than average and charming elderly residential home.
Within the role of the Care Home Manager you will oversee the entire service working alongside the Senior Management team to ensure the home is up to their high standards. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to market, promote, advertise and recruit as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities. You will lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to your residents.
As the Home Manager you will forge excellent ties and relationships with all suppliers and governing bodies to ensure the home meets all external regulatory obligations (CQC) so a good understanding of CQC standards are essential to this role. You will manage all aspects of the home, identifying new business opportunities, effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas.
Requirements of the Care Home Manager:
• Previous experience as a Care Home Manager is desirable but not essential - Deputy Managers will be considered.
• Demonstrable strong leadership skills in managing large teams of people.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of CQQ requirements.
• Strong experience working with Dementia and within elderly care.
• NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (or working towards).
