This role is for a designated unit within a home, providing a residential service supporting older adults from the local community.
Leading the team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in Cold Springs Park maintaining accurate records for each resident whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards.
You will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents, whilst at the same time building excellent personal relationships with residents and their families
To liaise proactively with all other health and social care practitioners involved in the care of residents
Responsible for the development of the service in conjunction with the Senior Management team ensuring regulatory compliance at all time and best practice is delivered in line with local and national policy as well as internal policy and procedures
Ensuring budgetary controls are operated to satisfactory standard and all KPI targets are achieved
To ensure all governance requirements including audits are completed as required
To ensure the performance of the staff team by ensuring all training is completed in a timely fashion and supervision and appraisal responsibilities are completed in accordance with policy
Must have extensive experience (minimum 3 years) of working within a residential care setting supporting older individuals
Must have worked in a Senior Care Assistant role (or equivalent previously)
Have QCF (NVQ) level 2 and 3 in health and Social Care
Have QCF (NVQ) level 4 or 5 In Management (or be working towards)
Experience of working in other Health and Social care settings is desirable but not essential
