THE ROLE: Quality Partnership Manager (Care Sector) National
Reporting to the Culture and Quality Assurance Director and responsible for 3 regional Practice Development Partners, The Quality Partnership Manager will oversee the Swanton Quality Assessment program and ensure continual quality improvement in terms of working practices, person centred outcomes and regulatory compliance. To develop and oversee robust systems for quantitative and qualitative data capture in relation to all aspects of service performance
ROLE OBJECTIVES: - Quality Partnership Manager (Care Sector) National
To continually review and enhance the quality assessment programme (in conjunction with the Culture and Quality Assurance Director) to ensure ongoing fitness for purpose in light of a) performance trends / analysis, b) national best practice, and c) regulatory partner requirements (CQC - England, CIW - Wales, CI, Scotland).
To lead on comprehensive quality assessment visits including, but not limited to, ‘mock inspections’, pre inspection assessments, general quality assessments, case tracking, and assessments based around the Swanton Ethos
To produce, on a monthly basis a comprehensive quality assessment report that evidences, in detail, key quality / performance trends as well as identifying areas of risk / services of concern.
To manage the Practice Development Partner in each region, ensuring their work programmes reflect the requirements of that region and that these are delivered in terms of a targeted / proportional / partnership approach
To act as an ambassador for Swanton specifically and the independent social care sector generally at all times and to consistently display the values and attributes of the Swanton Ethos in the approach taken to the role.
THE CANDIDATE: Quality Partnership Manager (Care Sector) National
The Successful candidate will hold relevant health & social care qualifications (Level 5 H & S Management qualification or relevant degree level professional qualification in a care related field) Have extensive management experience (including experience at Registered Manager level) in either residential or supported living services for service users with complex needs & significant experience of working within regulatory frameworks and of the inspection and registration process.
This is a remote role so a lot of travel and occasional overnight stays will be required, so a flexible approach to working hours and ability to travel to services is essential

Level 5 H & S Management qualification or relevant degree level professional qualification in a care related field
Management experience (including experience at Registered Manager level) in either residential or supported living services for adults with complex needs
Significant experience of working within regulatory frameworks and of the inspection and registration process
Detailed understanding of good practice in social care especially in relation to adults with intellectual disability, and/or autism
Highly developed presentation and report writing skills.
Up to date knowledge of health and safety legislation
Self-directed with the ability to multi task and manage time effectively
Flexible approach to working hours
Ability to travel across the Swanton estate (Nationally) on a regular basis
Hold a full UK driving licence and access to transport is essential
Desirable, but not essential would be any previous experience working as Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, Care Co-Coordinator, Service Manager, Social Care Operation Manager, etc.
