Role: Children's Home Manager
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £47,000
Would you love to work for an excellent employer as a Children's Home Manager?
I am currently recruiting for a Children's Home Manager for a large residential children's site in Worthing.
My client's site provides long and short term care for up to 14 children aged between 7 - 18 with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Autism. The site is currently graded "Good" by Ofsted, therefore is looking for somebody to come in and maintain the high standards already being achieved, and if anything improve them too! All of my client's homes/sites are rated at least "Good" and 1 home is rated "Outstanding".
The Children's Home Manager will have responsibility for the site they are registered for, organising the staffing team, meetings and reviews etc, communicating with Deputy Managers, Senior Support Workers and Care Workers, along with being a major focal point for other managerial colleagues, the children, and their families.
The ideal applicant will have experience of being a Children's Home Manager, especially with experience of working in the Learning Disability sector. It is also expected for the candidate to hold the NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People.
