Qualified Social Work - Child Protection
Full-Time, Substantial post qualifying experience, HCPC Registered, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent Degree.

Managing a defined caseload, the Social Worker is responsible for working effectively with children, young people and families/carers to achieve positive change and improved outcomes. This includes enquiry, assessment, purposeful intervention through direct work and review in relation to Child Protection, Child in Need and Children Looked After, achieving permanency through care for Children in Care Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities.
This role reports to the Team Manager.
About the client
Our client is a forward-thinking Council who invest heavily in their Children Services and are based in North Birmingham area.
The role in the Families First department is focused on the delivery of services relating to vulnerable children and young people. These services will be delivered against specifications set by the People Commissioning function in line with the County Council's overarching outcomes.
