I am working on behalf of a reputable Elderly Homecare Service provider that requires an experienced care co -ordinator to join their established and very friendly and professional team.
This is an independent homecare branch that offers a very good local homecare services around the Smethwick and surrounding areas. The service provides a high quality, compassionate and sympathetic Home Care Service for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Helping and supporting them to live in their own homes with dignity, comfort and peace of mind.
The company's success has hinged on its commitment to delivering the highest quality personalised services. The branch in question currently delivers around 1300 hours of care per week via 45 carers in the field. 95% of their contracts are Local Authority and 5% private.
You will be responsible for managing staff availability, effectively producing rotas for the carers & working closely with the Home Care Manager amongst other duties.
This a is full time role offering hours from either Monday - Friday, 9-5 with a degree of flexibility around this.
You will have to cover on call 1 in every 3 weekend and you will get time off the following week after you have been on on-call duties!
You will be a strong experienced care co-ordinator and have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care. You will have excellent organisational qualities, ability to be flexible and to time manage effectively and a desire to work to high standards and push yourself to better both the company and yourself. You will have the ability to come in and hit the ground running working off your own initiative.
