We have an amazing opportunity for a Registered Childrens Home Manager to join a company within the Penrith area. You must be qualified to, or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Young People, have strong and effective communication skills and have the ability to Lead, Engage, Motivate & Inspire, You must also have strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
You will be a Registered Manager of a small, family orientated, Children' s Home and you will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the home for medium to long term planned placements, ensuring our young people are supported and encouraged whilst preparing them to move on to independent living. Use your creativity and your passion, along with your organisation skills and your exceptional problem solving skills to deliver outstanding standards of care and make a world of difference to our young people.
My client continues to rapidly develop as an organisation who provide outstanding residential care for children and young people who may have emotional and behavioural difficulties. They offer short, medium and long term residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 - 18 who have experienced family or foster care breakdown or some other significant interruptions in their lives. They provide a safe, stimulating and engaging environment in small, family style homes which have been specifically designed so that each person feels secure and comfortable in their surroundings. They attempt to replicate a positive family life in the homes, offering a high level of nurture while taking great care to avoid any feeling of isolation. Each young person is assigned a key-worker who plays a pivotal role in their recovery process, particularly in developing their ability to attach and enabling them to unlock their full potential.
