Due to the large expansion of one of clients, they currently have 2 live vacancies on days and a further vacancy on nights/sleep ins.
Our client is a market leader in providing care to those with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. They are located nationwide, however these vacancies are for their services in the Swaffham area of Norfolk, all of which are located as either good' or outstanding' by the CQC.
The successful applicants must have a strong work ethic and be passionate and understanding. You must be happy to work as part of a team and on your own, to provide the best level of care possible. To maintain standards of good practice always, establishing purposeful and constructive relationships and appropriate role modelling so as to assist with the development of their life, activities, education, social skills and personal skills.
-Assisting the service users with getting up and ready in the mornings and helping them get ready for bed in the evenings.
-Planning and accompanying service users on visits to the shops, activities, social events and family gatherings.
-Assisting with finances, e.g helping to pay bills, budget and go shopping.
-Washing, cleaning, cooking and other elements of personal care as and when required.
-Be passionate about care.
-Be reliable and have a good work ethic.
-Have knowledge of complex needs and challenging behaviours.
-Have experience within a similar role.
-Be smiley and have a cheerful disposition.
