Salary: Competitive day rate available (please speak to Tom Berrisford) / £40k - £50k pro rata 

Contract: up to 6 months (rolling contract) with the potential to go permanent

We are working with a care provider that operate a portfolio of care homes across the North West that specialise in providing high quality dementia care.    

My client is looking for a proven Interim Turnaround  Manager who has experience of turning around care homes in line with CQC requirements, as well as running a recruitment drive and implementing a structure in a service that will ensure it continues to succeed even after you have left.

Expectations:

- Help to turn around any failing homes  

- Act as a support system for current Home Managers in the portfolio who require additional support.  

- In the event a home doesn't have a Home Manager, you will take over the running of the home in preparation for a new permanent Home Manager.  

- Travel across the remit of the homes (small remit - please ask Tom Berrisford for details)  

- Work alongside the Operations Director to identify homes in need of urgent assistance

The Candidate

The successful candidate must be an experienced, committed and personable manager who genuinely has a passion for elderly care. The client requires someone who has worked within an elderly care home and preferably had experience of turning around failing care homes            

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to provide high quality care. This position requires a commercially aware person who can recruit, retain and motivate a competent staff team, as well as being comfortable with budgeting and ensure a home goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location

This role is based in Cheshire, and is commutable from Stockport, Manchester, Leigh, Wigan, Preston, Southport, The Wirral, Northwich, Liverpool, Chester, Greater Manchester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Rochdale

Stage two: Teams / Zoom (Formal): Operations Director & CEO
