Job Description
Team Leader required for an established residential home supporting young people with autism located in Penwrotham, Preston.
Responsibilities
Effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people
Guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards
Provide residential care for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour
Assisting our young people with their daily lives. This could be in the form of helping the young person to School, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.
Requirements:
NVQ Diploma Level 3 Caring for children and young people and relevant experience in a children's residential setting is essential
A full driving license
