Seven Social Care is looking for a Youth Offending Service Officer to fill an exclusive opportunity for a Youth Offending Service in Solihull.

The Role:

As a Youth Offending Service Officer you will be working at the Smith's Wood base in Solihull. This is a 30 hours per week role Monday - Thursday, however there can be flexibility for any applicant that needs it. The pay rates are offered up to £27.53 per hour depending on experience.

This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference to the lives of young people, families and victims.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess and supervise young people, both pre and post Court

* Develop and facilitate interventions and programmes to prevent young people becoming involved in crime

* Promote a restorative approach

Applicant Requirements:

* Qualifications: Relevant professional qualification or degree (Social Work, Probation Studies, Youth Justice Effective Practice, Youth and Community Work).

* Experience: 2+ years working with Youth offending services in the UK.

* Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.

* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

* Hours: 30 hours p/w.
