We are looking for experienced and qualified Bank Support Workers who are able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and innovative attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

This an exciting time to be part of the team at 1848. We are a growing organisation committed to safeguarding and positively changing the lives of the young people in our care. Our teams have specialist knowledge, expertise and skills in working with young people who have emotional behavioural disorder.

About You

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting young people with their daily lives, building life skills and developing independence. Your role will also be to support the young people come to terms with, and move on from, their varying emotional, behavioural and often mental health issues.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a children's home or working with young adults in transition services and have achieved QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People or Level 3 Health & Social Care, or equivalent. Experience of working in CAMHS inpatient or community services, Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work or Youth Work would be advantageous.

We offer highly competitive salaries and good career opportunities. Excellent training and support is provided, along with a full and comprehensive induction program. As part of your employment, you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Certificate in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our therapists to gain further experience and skills.
