Psychotherapist - Mental Health - Employee Assistance  

Nationwide - Home based

Salary - £28K to £33K p/a DOE

We are currently supporting their search for number of Psychotherapists to join the growing team of Mental Health experts in the United Kingdom.

 

You will join a prosperous company who formally entered the UK virtual care space last year and offers a range of services including psychological therapy and consultations, remote GP services, expert medical opinion, and nutrition consultations.

We are looking for passionate Psychotherapist with a minimum of 2 years' experience who will report to Lead Psychologist and can provide high quality telephone-delivered mental health support, advice, and signposting. As you will be surrounded by sensitive matter at all times the client would like to see Psychotherapists to have the ability to rapidly respond to the needs of the clients and within a brief therapeutic frame offer valuable and targeted clinical interventions for a broad variety of issues.

 

Responsibilities  

 

As the consulting work is carried out remotely, you must have a private space where you can work, ensuring the confidentiality of your clients.

 

- Ability to conduct psychological telephone assessment and formulation of callers.

- Ability to provide targeted interventions within a short single session psychotherapeutic frame.

- Ability to rapidly respond to client's needs and to advice/signpost accordingly.  

- Ability to conduct a full risk assessment and to manage crisis calls with the appropriate level of care.

- Experience of working with a broad variety of clinical issues and settings.

- Ability to keep brief and accurate clinical and company records.

- Passionate about wellbeing, mental health, and the appropriate implementation of counselling techniques to the field of Employee Assistance Services.

- Self-motivated with highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to work autonomously within BACP or UKCP professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.  

- Ability to adhere to Employee Assistance ethics and codes of practice

- To engage in regular internal clinical supervision and team meetings.  

- To support the development of the service

- To have good computer literacy and IT skills, including Microsoft Office or similar package

 

Previous EAP experience and/or to hold a CEAP - Certified Employee Assistance Professional is desirable.

Full Time 37.5 hours per week or Part Time. Predominantly days, some flexibility may be required
