A well known care provider is currently looking for dedicated and experienced staff for their brand new Nursing Home in Newbury. The company is well-established in the industry and has a number of homes across the UK with a fantastic reputation.
Our client provides a safe and homely environment where their aim is to provide residents with a good quality of life whilst also respecting privacy and dignity. They are seeking strong Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team and provide individually tailored care to all clients.
About the home:
This is a beautiful 60 bedded Nursing Home specialising in elderly and dementia care. The home is located roughly a mile from Newbury train station with good public transport links and close to major road links. The home only opened last year and provides residents with luxurious and comfortable accomodation in a state of the art facility.
Residents at the home benefit from having their own private bedroom with an en-suite wetroom and numerous communal space including a variety of dining rooms, lounges and gardens. Residents can also enjoy the home's gym, nail bar and hairdressing salon.
These are full time, permanent roles and both days and nights are available. These pay £9.50+ per hour working long shifts. (24, 36 or 48 hour contracts). The company can offer support to those individuals looking gain qualifications and to progress in their careers into Senior Care Assistant and Team Leader positons.
NVQs within Health and Social Care are preferred but not essential as long as candidates have previous experience of working within care. Preferably within care homes for the elderly.
Senior Care Assistants / Team Leaders
These are also full time, permanent roles paying up to a fantastic £11.50 per hour. Days and Nights are available with an immediate start possible. Candidates will preferably have NVQ Level 3 and previous experience as a Senior HCA.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
*To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
*To provide leadership and support to the care staff
*Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times
As a senior care assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
