We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who has a fantastic reputation within the Fleet area for its well-established residential home. They are seeking a strong Care Assistant with previous experience to join their dedicated care team.

This is a beautiful 30 bedded residential home specialising in the care for the elderly. The home was also awarded a GOOD CQC report rating GOOD in all areas from its last inspection.
The home is located in pleasant surroundings offering a homely atmosphere along with a dedicated care team. All rooms are singles and all come with en-suites. The home is only registered for elderly care with no dementia and is a truly lovely and supportive place to work.

Job Role - Healthcare Assistant
Hours - Full Time Days, 30-36 hours per week (6 and 12 hour shifts available)
Service - Residential Home
Pay - £9.25-9.50 per hour
Care Assistant Duties:
Provide care to residents
To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach
To provide leadership and support to the care staff
Liaise directly with families and friends offering them professional and emotional support
As a Care Assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and demonstrate good teamwork with the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
Previous experience of elderly care
NVQs in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential
