Community Care Assistant - Thurrock and surrounding areas

Rates from £9.71 to £10.21 per hour plus paid mileage

Fully paid Induction Training provided

In order to join our team you will need to:

Have a naturally caring disposition

Possess good communication skills

Be dedicated, reliable and adaptable

Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Undergo an enhanced DBS check

Flexible shift patterns - including both full and part-time roles

Guaranteed contracted hours available - rolling 3 days on, 3 days off basis (30 hours per week)

Due to the nature of the service, the role does require working alternate weekends

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential

Our teams work across Thurrock in Essex and the surrounding areas, helping people who wish to retain their independence and remain at home for as long as possible.

A Care Assistant’s role and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Meal preparation

Assistance with personal hygiene, showering/ bathing/ washing

Helping people get up each morning and go to bed each evening

Light domestic duties

Companionship and social calls

Assistance with toileting

Shopping either with or for service users
