£45,000 Depending on experience plus performance related bonus

I am currently recruiting for the position of Registered Home Manager for a new state of the art elderly residential home in the Cheshire area. My client have a fantastic reputation for their state of the art purpose built care homes and as such I am now working with the Senior Leadership Team to identify an exceptional Home Manager to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities of the Registered Home Manager:
Within the role of Home Manager you will oversee the entire service working alongside the Operations team to ensure the home is up to their high standards from day one. The Home Manager position is a critical role and you will be responsible for marketing and promoting the home during its early stages as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities.
The Home Manager will have a hands on role in the recruitment and training of their team and will lead and inspire this caring support team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to residents. A percentage of the team has already been successfully recruited, and you will have autonomy in selecting your key staff; Deputy Home Manager and senior carers.
As Home Manager you will forge excellent ties and relationships with all suppliers and governing bodies to ensure the home meets all external regulatory obligations (CQC) so a good understanding of CQC standards are essential to this role. The Home Manager will manage all aspects of the Care Home, identifying new business opportunities, effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas.
The successful Home Manager will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
•NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (or working towards).
•Extensive home manager experience.
•Commissioning experience is desirable but not essential.
•Proven track record with CQC.
•Previous Management experience of medium to large care homes.
•Excellent communication skills.
