Compass Associates have an exciting new job vacancy available for either an experienced Senior Care Assistant or experienced Care Assistant looking to take the next step up to join an elderly residential home in Bonnyrigg. This dedicated home prides itself on delivering the best possible care ensuring that independence, dignity and quality is promoted at all time. As a Senior Care Assistant you'll be assisting residents with their personal care needs, ensuring a safe and happy environment and promoting overall good health and wellbeing whilst also running a small team of Care Assistants.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a hard working and friendly team. The successful candidate will have an experienced background as a Senior Care Assistant, hold a SVQ level 2/3 in Health or Social care or equivalent, show empathy, be caring, compassionate, out going and have good leadership skills.
Previous experience as a Care Assistant with the willingness to step up
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant is desirable
SVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable
SVQ Level 2 is essential
Strong Leadership skills
Caring, compassionate, committed and passionate
Be comfortable with the personal care aspect of the job
Have a passion for care
The role is based in Bonnyrigg, Edinburgh and is commutable from Dalkeith, Newbattle, Easthouses, Mayfield, Newtongrangem Gowkshill, Polton, Loanhead, Straiton, Bilston, Roslin, Rosewell, Millerhill, Danderhall and other surrounding areas.
My Client is seeking an empathetic, compassionate, caring and experienced Senior Care Assistant for their service in Bonnyrigg assisting the elderly in their residential home. As a Senior Care Assistant you'll be assisting residents by promoting good health and well being and supporting them to live as much of an independent lifestyle as possible whilst running a team of care assistants, reviewing and writing care plans and risk assessments. In return for your hard work and commitment my clients are offering up to £10.20 per hour and other training benefits.
