Commissioning Home Manager | Care Home

Preston,

Lancashire

   

Salary: £40k - £45k per annum

Benefits:

25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

   

*Must have Home Management experience (elderly care home)*

We are working with a private care provider that operate a small portfolio of care homes across the North West and specialise in providing high quality care in older people's services. This is business that has recently grown its portfolio of luxury care homes and promotes a 5* experience for all residents.   

 

My client is looking for a proactive manager, preferably with commissioning experience to have overall operational oversight for a brand new medium sized care home that provides residential and dementia care for elderly people. The home has a great deal to offer a Home Manager, such as;

The Candidate          

The successful candidate must be an experienced, committed and personable person who genuinely has a passion for elderly care. The client requires someone who has worked within an elderly care home and preferably has commissioning experience.  

     

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to provide high quality care. This position requires a commercially aware person who can recruit, retain and motivate a competent staff team, as well as being comfortable with budgeting and ensure the home goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location          

This role is based in Preston, Lancashire and is commutable from Southport, Lancaster, Blackpool, Chorley, Fleetwood, Wigan & Blackburn

 

Interview Process          

The interview process will be in a 2- stage format.           

 

Stage one: Skype / telephone call (Formal): Regional Manager  

Stage two: Skype / telephone call (Formal): Regional Manager & Managing Director          

 

Summary          

My client is seeking a Home Manager preferably with exposure to management of an elderly care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful care home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to £45k per annum + Benefits.
