Senior Clinical Support Worker - Band 3

We would like to hear from experienced candidates who are highly motivated and passionate in delivering care. You will join the Learning disability provider team, which consists of a Complex Needs Day Service day service which operates Monday to Friday & a bed based Short Breaks Service with 24 hour support 7 days aweek . The service supports adults with learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge and have additional complex health needs/ Autism.

We support adults using a positive behavioural support model. We aim to maximise skills and abilities within the risk management framework.

Duties include working flexibly, 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday from 8am- 6pm shift pattern. We operate a 24 /7 day a week service within our Short Breaks Service, you will work to a 6 week rota.

Delivery of support includes, all aspects of daily living, ranging from support with personal care, adapting methods of communication to meet individual need, accessing structured occupational and leisure activities, both on and off site, monitoring health and following agreed plans of support and care.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £29.50(standard disclosure) or £47.50 (enhanced disclosure) Which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
