Team Leader - Acute Mental Health

Kegworth, Derby

£11 per hour

Full Time

We are currently recruiting for Team Leader with previous experience working with adults with Mental Illness who is able to lead on shifts, supervise staff and rotas and provide support to our residents living at the service. The service is a Locked Rehabilitation Hospital for Females and Males with Acute mental illness. The organisation is well established with a number of services across the East Midlands, and more planned for the future.

Your Day-to-Day...

• Ensure patients' filing and documentation complies with legal requirements and company policies and procedures

• Guide and train Support Worker teams in policies and procedures

• Induct new employees on policies and procedures and refresh other Support Workers

• Support patients who need assistance with independent living skills and personal hygiene, encouraging their independence

• Lead a team of Support Workers

We're looking for people who have:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to be a good team player

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience of people in Senior Support Worker post

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care

• Evidence of their ability to manage and resolve crisis and conflict within the workplace

• Experience in either Residential, Mental Health or Learning Disability settings

• Flexibilty to work 12 hour shifts on a rota basis
