Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead within the Teesside Community CYP Eating Disorder Service on a fixed term basis. The team specialises in the management of Eating Disorders, providing specialist intervention to young people and their families in line with national guidance. Due to the nature of the role, the post will be split between leading and managing the team and provision of evidence based clinical interventions and caseload management.

As a result, we are looking for an experienced CYPS clinician with some operational and clinical management experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. You will be a natural leader and a team player, who is committed to promoting excellent quality of care within a patient centred service. You will be able to foster strong relationships with clinical colleagues and drive through cultural change within the workforce. Alongside these skills, It is vital that you possess an understanding of adolescent mental health, have eating disorder experience and can provide psychological therapy in line with Access & Waiting Time Standards for Eating Disorders.
