General Manager | Care Home (residential)

Stockport

Cheshire

     

Salary: Circa £45k per annum  

     

Benefits:    

- 5% bonus + a one of bonus for an Outstanding CQC

We are working with a care provider that operate a portfolio of care homes across the North. They're a business that provides high quality care for elderly people, boast a fully compliant remit in line with CQC requirements and due to recent successes, they are looking to grow their portfolio within the next few years.  

 

My client is looking for a Registered Manager to manage a stunning care home that provides dementia care for elderly people. This is a high spec facility that is fully occupied, fully staffed and fully compliant with CQC regulations. Recently they've created a good reputation in the area and this should be considered as a great opportunity to become an 'outstanding' rated care home.      

     

The Candidate          

The successful candidate must be currently working in a Registered Managers position within an elderly care home that works to high standards and is compliant with CQC requirements.  

       

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to provide high quality care. This position requires a positive person who can recruit, retain and motivate an excellent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the home goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.  

     

We can only accept applications from people who are currently working within the elderly care home sector, for this position.

Location          

This role is based near Stockport, Cheshire and is commutable from Crewe, Warrington, Widnes, Macclesfield, Manchester, Ashton Under-Lyne, Salford, Wigan, Altrincham, Greater Manchester & Northwich.  

     

Interview Process          

The interview process will be in a 3 stage format.           

           

Stage one: Face to face informal: Tom Berrisford (Divisional Lead at Compass Associates)

Stage two: Face to face formal: Regional Manager and a tour of the service

Stage three: Face to face formal: CEO  

           

Summary          

My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful care home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of Circa £45k per annum.
