Job Description

West Kent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) based in Priority House, Maidstone are recruiting! We currently have 3 full time (37.5 hour) vacancies. Mental Health Nurses & Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply.

The West Kent CRHTT provide home treatment for service users experiencing an acute deterioration in their mental health in the community as an alternative to hospital admission or to help support an early discharge from hospital. The team provide intensive home treatment to service users and support for their families using evidence based, profession specific and general mental health knowledge by using person centred, recovery orientated principles and practice for individuals, families and carers referred to the service.

You will be a confident and experienced mental health clinician, who will work alongside a Multi-Disciplinary Team made up of Mental Health Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrist, Occupational Therapist, Speciality Doctor, Support Time & Recovery Workers, Peer Support Worker and the Interventions Team.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills that you will use to facilitate high quality mental health assessments and home treatment interventions, and to build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The team work closely with both internal and external professionals, including Psychiatric Liaison teams, acute inpatient wards, Community Mental Health Teams and Emergency Services, as well as service users and their family and carers.

CRHTT is a 24 hour service so you will be expected to work a varied shift pattern including night shifts, weekends and public holidays. West Kent CRHTT cover a large geographical area including Maidstone, Tonbridge & Malling, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Edenbridge. The Induction programme will provide an excellent opportunity for new staff to meet and engage with KMPT's subject specialists and will include the essential training required.
