Customer Care Manager - Veterinary Practice      

Southampton, Hampshire

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading Veterinary Group to recruit for a Customer Care Manager to join their busy veterinary practice based in Southampton. The Role  

   

This full-time position is primarily worked Monday - Friday with 1-in-4 weekend shifts which are rotated between the receptionist team. The shifts are 7:30am - 4:30pm, 9am - 6pm  and 11:30am - 8:30pm and will vary weekly.       

   

The role involves leading a veterinary receptionist team of 4, being responsible for ensuring your team deliver an outstanding service. As the customer care manager, it is vital that you contribute towards providing an excellent customer experience. This includes noticing when customers are unhappy with the service they have received and working to change their experience for the best.  

   

Other responsibilities include welcoming and registering new clients, booking in clients, seeing to client queries, taking payments, answering the phones, dealing with complaints and insurance forms, sending out letters, keeping the reception area tidy and assisting customers in sensitive situations.  

   

The Candidate  

   

My client is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who can demonstrate their ability to provide outstand customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to use their initiative and work independently, possessing excellent decision-making skills and an ability to prioritise effectively. You must be able to work efficiently and keep up to speed with the busy reception area, always greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner.      

   

Requirements  

- A minimum of 2 years Reception experience within a Veterinary/Animal Care environment  

- Previous experience leading a team  

- Professional and dedicated personality  

- Passion for working with animals  

- Positive, can-do attitude to work  

- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer facing role  

- Caring nature  

- Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience  

   

Please note, you will not be considered if you do not have previous Veterinary/animal care experience

Summary  

My client is seeking a professional, self-motivated receptionist to join their growing team at their veterinary practice based in Soutnampton. The ideal candidate must have 2 years customer service experience and a strong leadership background. They must have excellent communication skills, a proficient ability to use their initiative when working independently, and to take pride in their work, completing it to the highest level. There is a salary of up to £24,000 on offer, alongside some fantastic benefits including free lunch Fridays, free parking, discounted veterinary care and more!
