Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered mental health or learning disability nurse to join our team at HMP Styal. We are a friendly and supportive team, with a wealth of experience and knowledge. The mental health team, based in HMP Styal, offers both primary and secondary mental health care to women in custody. The role is challenging, but promises to be interesting and varied. We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join us.
The successful candidate will also be part of GMMHs Health and Justice Network, which offers a wide range of training, events and support for staff, specific to the role. Additionally, we provide free parking, access to gym facilities and access to a variety of training opportunities, where relevant to the role.
The mental health team operates 7 days per week, inclusive of bank holidays, during day time hours. There may be some flexibility with core hours where needed.
