Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to work in the vibrant Central & Citywide Division of Manchester. There are numerous innovative developments taking place within the division including the new Mental Health & Student Service, the Manchester Case Management Service and as a result we are looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic and committed person. Are you organised, service user focused and a team orientated individual who wishes to support and guide these developments within our Community and Urgent Care Services.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidates will provide overall management and leadership for service development and business and resource planning throughout the Central & Citywide Directorates for their areas in keeping with corporate objectives and specific commissioning requirements.
The post holder will be supported through regular supervision and through the Senior Leadership Team governance structure. This is an excellent opportunity to develop, learn and share outstanding knowledge and experience to lead a large workforce.
