This role is in a 45 bedded Residential Care Home in Markey Harborough that specialises in elderly and dementia care.
The most recent CQC report is rated "GOOD" in all areas and the home is a part of a small, family run company with great opportunities for progression! The group currently owns and operates 5 homes across the East Midlands area and they are looking to expand.
The role pays £10.00 per hour and is a full-time, permanent position on Days working alternate weekends. (33-44 hours per week) Shifts are 7:00am to 7:00pm in a very rewarding setting.
This position is just below a Deputy and would be the perfect step up for a Senior Care Assistant looking to take on more responsibility before possibly moving up to be a Deputy in the future within the group.
Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
Skills & Experience
Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans
Experience of leading a shift
Good organisational and supervisory skills
Ability to plan allocate and delegate work appropriately
Effectively builds trust with a consistent approach between actions and words
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
