This is a full time permanent role averaging 43.75 hours a week doing 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off. Shift times are 7.45pm to 8.15am

The young people at this location have a range of diagnoses such as ASD, anxiety and other mental health conditions. In turn, at times ,challenging behaviour can be displayed due to frustration and fear. We are looking for people who have worked with vulnerable people before in a therapeutic way, creating a feeling of safety and calm.

You will receive full training and on-going team support in this position and benefit from seeing the young people in your care thrive. As this is an evening going into night time role your responsibility will be to encourage a healthy sleeping pattern and administer any specific medications once you've returned from any evening activity the young person has timetabled in such as trips to the cinema or bowling etc. You will help with teatime and getting the person washed and ready for bed.

Does this sound of interest? We are not looking for any formal qualifications, that will all be obtained on the job. if you have some experience in care, ideally with this age group, this could be just what you're looking for.
