An exciting opportunity has arisen to work across a couple of surgical clinics. They are Clinic 4 and 4a.
You will work closely with friendly staff from Consultant Teams, Speciality Support Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Staff Nurses, HCSW's, Student Nurses,Dieticians , Sonographers, Macmillan Navigator, Volunteers, Clinic Co-ordinators, Secretaries and Receptionists.
Clinic 4 is an outpatient area which specialises in Colorectal , Upper Gasto-intestinal ( UGI) , Hepatobillary Pancreatic ( HPB) and Vascular.
Clinic 4a is an outpatient area which specialises in Urology
We will give you an induction week and tuition in the way we use EPIC. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, Bladder Scanning, Catheterisation, applying dressings and much more. You will be able to assist in diagnostics procedures and increase your knowledge. You will carry out the Resus box and other weekly or daily checks and to given the opportunity to assist the nurses in their link roles. Come and learn about patient pathways.
The hours are 37.5 over 4 days each week. Shifts will start at 08:00, 2 days will finish at 18:00 and 2 days will finish at 17:45
