Registered Cluster Manager required for a nationwide adult social care provider who firmly believes everyone is entitled to the best life possible and with the right care, people with learning disabilities can find more enjoyment, comfort and satisfaction in their lives. Our client is one of the largest charities in the UK and offer services ranging from residential care and day opportunities to supported living/domiciliary care at home.
This role sits within their supported living service in Bristol comprising of 16 beds. The people being cared for have lived in this service for many years so are very settled and live in a close-knit family type environment. They have a variety of support needs; some are independent, others non-verbal. One is on the dementia pathway another has epilepsy to name a few.
Hours - full time 37.5 hours per week prominently days although must be able to stay away from home overnight for reasons such as on-calls, supported persons holidays, management meetings, emergency cover for shifts, and training.
Experience required - you will have previous in this sector at this level and be a strong leader adept at managing a large team and taken an established environment through change successfully. Performance management is required and ideally a level 5 diploma in health and social care or a level 3 and the willingness to work towards the 5 in the first 12- mths of service. Possession of a valid driving licence, own transport and preparedness to insure and use this for work purposes.
Salary - £29,348.30 rising to £30,345 upon registration with CQC plus a full benefits package, which includes 20 days hols rising to 25 in year 2, 8 bank hols plus other benefits.
