We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and have the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The successful post holder will be expected to be able to work in a large multidisciplinary team within the Emergency Department, having close links to the paediatric unit, resuscitation service, safeguarding teams and medical staffing. They should have good communication skills, particularly with children and young persons and have a basic knowledge of child development
As a Clinical Support worker you will ensure that you work in a team, whose main aim is to provide our Children and young persons with a safe, effective and efficient service. You would need to be aware of local safeguarding policies and understand (with training) how to ensure that our service users are safe.
As a Clinical support worker you will be required to be able to take basic observations on children and young persons and training will be provided within the department.
As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development we are offering a number of apprenticeships and training opportunities in Leadership and Management, Business Services, Finance, Accounting and HR, Clinical Support Work, Research and Innovation, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner alongside our in-house comprehensive clinical pathways.
