General Manager | Residential Care Home | Good CQC  

Preston,  

Lancashire  

     

Salary: £50k - £60k per annum  

     

Benefits:      

- Bonus dependant on compliance, occupancy and staffing levels

We are working with a care provider that operate a portfolio of care home services across the UK. This award-winning provider have an excellent structure in place for people to progress through the hierarchy and ensure that Home Managers are supported with an extensive and experienced operations team.  

     

My client is looking for a new Home Manager to takeover a compliant, large care home that provides residential and dementia care for elderly people. The home has a good reputation in the area, as well as a dedicated and loyal staff team that have helped to extend the success of the home through the years.  

         

The Candidate            

The successful candidate must be currently working as a Home Manager within an elderly care home that works to a high standard and ensures residents are having an enjoyable, safe and comfortable stay in line with CQC requirements.  

       

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to provide high quality care. This position requires a positive person who can recruit, retain and motivate an excellent staff team, as well as build on good relationships with external professionals and essentially, ensure that all residents are cared for to the best possible standard.    

     

We can only accept applications from people who are currently working within the elderly care home sector, for this position.

Location            

This role is based near Preston and is commutable from Blackpool, Manchester, Southport, Chorley, Blackburn, Lancaster  

     

Interview Process            

The interview process will be in a 2 stage format.             

           

Stage one: Face to face formal: Regional Manager & Senior Manager  

Stage two: Formal: MD / Operations Director  

           

Summary            

My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful care home in line with CCQ requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of circa £50k - £60k per annum + benefits.
