My client who is a well-known organisation providing care to people with LD, MH and complex needs within the area and is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join their new Supported Living Service in Enfield paying £32k per year increasing to £35k per year when the new service hits a high occupancy. You would be required to work Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. The service supports adults and young adults with their independence and life skills.

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has a risen for an experienced Service Manager to join my clients brand new Supported Living Service in Enfield with a starting salary of £32k per year which will rise to £35k per year when the home hits a higher occupancy. When the home hits is occupancy above 22 service users, another Service Manager will be introduced and you will share responsibility of the service. An experienced and motivated individual is required to manage a home in Luton. The home is a purpose built facility which caters for service users who come from different backgrounds and the service allows service users to develop and maximise their ability to live independently within their own homes one day. My client is seeking a strong, experienced individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge.

The service is due to open in October 2019 but prior to the service opening, you will be sent for paid training with my clients organisation.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years Service Management experience within a Supported Living service.

You will be dynamic, sharp and hungry for a challenge with a strong personality and people management skills. This post really requires an individual who is focused and compassionate with the want to help others. The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Skills/ Experience:

  • 2 years minimum working as a Service Manager

  • NVQ Level 5 or RMA

  • Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards

  • Dynamic & Enthusiastic

  • A proven history of 'GOOD' CQC reports

Duties will include:

  • Responsibility of the home

  • Staff management/appraisals/Training

  • Care plans/reviews/meetings
